Today "Chimply" the hot air balloon owned by James Bowman of Oklahoma City visited our school. This weekend is BalloonFest in our town. We watched the owners blow up the balloon from the ground. We saw our principal Mrs. Hathcoat go up in the balloon. She did not fly away. We we stood next to the balloon. We felt the hot air from the hot burners. We took a picture of us next to it. It weighed 600-700 pounds. We saw the trailer that it is carried in. The basket was big enough to carry four people. It was AWESOME!! Some of us are planning on going this weekend to see other balloons. Have a nice weekend!!! P.S. We had fun writing this together!

Seeing The World Through Buddy Bear's Eyes
Buddy is our classroom bear. He was given to Mrs. J as a Valentine present in 1993 by a very special student Ryan Humphrey. He started going home on weekends with her student's & began traveling the world. He has been to many exciting homes & places. He has met every child that Mrs. Jones has ever taught. He has been to birthday parties, class trips, trips to different states & countries, sat on the Great Wall of China, & met Micky Mouse! He is currently 15 years old. We will be documenting his trips below.

What an awesome site! I'm so excited.
I loved reading your story about the hot-air balloon! The balloon ride was fun and I especially enjoyed seeing all of you from up in the air.
Have a great week!
Mrs. Hathcoat
The hot air balloon was cool! But it was really hot near it. We wish we all could have gotten to ride in it.
The baloon is just as Hayley described it. Must have been alot of fun.
Interesting to know.
