What's your favorite thing about teaching a Multiage grade?

My favorite thing about teaching Multiage is really getting to know my students & their families. It is my opinion that less transitions over two-three years, differientiated learning, learning styles, & becoming a "family" are all important aspects of our Multiage. Teaching them respect for themselves & others, cooperation, & modeling how to work out conflicts helps insure success for all. All of this rolled up together makes coming to school each day a true joy & our program successful. Thanks for leaving me a comment! -Mrs. J

We just wanted Mrs. J and all her wonderful students to know how much we enjoy checking in on all the neat things that you all are doing. We live in Arizona and can't be there to enjoy our granddaughters as they grow up, so it is so great to be able to peek in on them via this blog from time to time. You are all such hard workers and it looks like your having a super time.
Keep at it and you will become capabale adults who will be ready to take on the world.

BUDDY BEAR'S BLOG
Buddy is our classroom bear. He was given to Mrs. J as a Valentine present in 1993 by a very special student Ryan Humphrey. He started going home on weekends with her student's & began traveling the world. He has been to many exciting homes & places. He has met every child that Mrs. Jones has ever taught. He has been to birthday parties, class trips, trips to different states & countries, sat on the Great Wall of China, & met Micky Mouse! He is currently 15 years old. We will be documenting his trips below.
