A Peek At Our Week Jan. 12-16
O-si-o! We will kick off our week by hosting Gorilla Pride today! We went over the agenda on Thursday. The students were ready with only one run through! We incorporate the Great Expectations philosophy daily into EVERYTHING we do, so the students new exactly what we would be doing during the assembly. In class this week, we will continue our social studies unit over the US Presidents. The students picked & wrote (small group) reports over a past president. They turned out great with the students learning a lot! During math we will continue with leveled subtraction. We will begin our unit on winter; time did not allow it last week. We will finish off the week with another Mystery Reader. It is going to be another great week in the Multiage!

Seeing The World Through Buddy Bear's Eyes
Buddy is our classroom bear. He was given to Mrs. J as a Valentine present in 1993 by a very special student Ryan Humphrey. He started going home on weekends with her student's & began traveling the world. He has been to many exciting homes & places. He has met every child that Mrs. Jones has ever taught. He has been to birthday parties, class trips, trips to different states & countries, sat on the Great Wall of China, & met Micky Mouse! He is currently 15 years old. We will be documenting his trips below.
