NSU Field Trip!

Today we road a bus to NSU to see the play Red vs. The Wolf. It was so funny! We had a good time riding the bus and watching the play. There were many characters: The Wolf, Red, Grama, Woodcutter, Skunk, Butterfly, Rabbit, Deer, Litter Bug, & the Stage Manager. The characters wore cute costumes and masks. The Wolf spent a lot of time telling his side of the story. We came to find out that Little Red Riding Hood was not repspecting her mother, grandmother, & the animals of the forest. She did not use kind words, gentle touches, & never smiled. We learned that you definitely need to treat others the way you want to be treated. We took our picture with Red after the play was over. Buddy Bear loved the trip! Spectacular Sophia, Marvelous Maggie, & Nice Neida took good care of him on the trip. We also checked out the newly renovated fountian. Mrs. J told us that she remember when the fountain was built. She grew up just a couple of blocks away. She said that the fountain use to have different colored lights and the water also did neat tricks. She was happy to see it "flowing" again after so many years of being dry. We thought it was SO NEAT!
