HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I can’t believe how October has flown by!! We had a wonderful trip to the Tulsa Zoo last Friday. This week we are going to begin our unit on pumpkins. The unit will be another online project for us. We will post our pumpkin results along with other classrooms from across the world. In addition, we will conduct an experiment to see if pumpkins sink or float. During math we will be adding by 9’s, completing surveys, & telling time. Adjectives (describing words) will be our focus during language arts. We’ll be working in cooperative groups to research & write reports over another nocturnal animal, owls. Hope you can stop by our Halloween party on Friday! BIG NEWS: Admirable Alexa’s family will welcome a new baby boy this week! We can’t wait to see him!!

Seeing The World Through Buddy Bear's Eyes
Buddy is our classroom bear. He was given to Mrs. J as a Valentine present in 1993 by a very special student Ryan Humphrey. He started going home on weekends with her student's & began traveling the world. He has been to many exciting homes & places. He has met every child that Mrs. Jones has ever taught. He has been to birthday parties, class trips, trips to different states & countries, sat on the Great Wall of China, & met Micky Mouse! He is currently 15 years old. We will be documenting his trips below.
